JCFHF - Giving Tuesday: Early Giving Now Open 

November 23, 2025 – December 2 is Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is an annual global event held on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Launched in 2012, the idea behind Giving Tuesday was to set aside a single day to focus on giving back.

Giving Tuesday has become an independent, global event. The JCF Hospital Foundation is proud to be one of the many non-profit organizations to participate, offering the community an opportunity to donate to benefit the hospital.

“The Healthcare District has a number of needs,” said JCF Hospital Foundation board president Heather Bernikoff. “But this year,” she continued, “we are focusing on raising funds for a new ventilator.”

“Three of the top five complaints patients had when visiting the Emergency Department involved respiratory health,” continued Bernikoff. “Ventilators save lives, and we need a new one to serve our community.”

Pictured is the Hamilton T1 Ventilator the Hospital Foundation is fundraising for. It's an upgraded ventilator from what the hospital currently has and will improve the quality of care for John C. Fremont patients.
