Traffic Fatality Investigation 

November 23, 2025 – Modesto Police Department officials report that shortly after 12:25 a.m. on Saturday morning, a sedan traveling eastbound on Paradise Road near Leon Avenue struck a pedestrian. Responding officers and medical personnel provided aid, but the pedestrian later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. At this time, neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be factors for the driver.

The Modesto Police Department Traffic Safety Unit is investigating this incident. No further information is available at this time. Witnesses are asked to contact Officer Beverson at Beversonj@modestopd.com.
