November 25, 2025 - Turlock Police Department officials report on November 19, 2025, the Turlock Police Department arrested Gerald Eugene Pinatacan, 45, in 
connection with a sexual assault investigation stemming from an incident reported earlier this month.
On November 5, 2025, officers received a report from an adult female who stated she had been sexually assaulted by an ultrasound technician during a medical appointment earlier this year. The appointment occurred in February of 2025 at a medical office in the 1500 block of Colorado Avenue in Turlock.
According to the victim, the technician performed actions that were not consistent with the medical procedure she was scheduled to receive and made statements that caused her to believe the conduct was medically necessary. She also reported additional concerning behavior by the same technician during a follow-up appointment in March of 2025.
Detectives later confirmed that Pinatacan had been previously arrested by the Turlock Police Department in a case involving similar allegations reported earlier this year. Based on the victimโs statement and supporting documentation, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Pinatacan.
Pinatacan was taken into custody without incident at the Stanislaus County Courthouse following a separate hearing. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Jail on the following charges:
- โข 289(a)(1) PC โ Sexual penetration with a foreign object
- โข 243.4(d) PC โ Sexual battery for the purpose of sexual arousal
The medical office where these incidents occurred confirmed that Pinatacan is no longer employed there.
โThis is an extremely troubling case,โ said Chief Jason Hedden. โWhen someone seeks medical care, they place complete trust in the professionals who are there to help them. That trust was violated. Our department is committed to holding individuals accountable when they abuse positions of authority and cause harm, and we encourage anyone who may have been impacted to come forward.โ
