July 15, 2016 - June 2016 visitors to Yosemite National Park by auto rises 31.0% from June 2015. Year to date numbers show a increase of visitors by auto of 25.2%
 
The Arch Rock Entrance Station (Mariposa -Highway 140) had a increase of visitors by auto of 18.3% compared to June 2015. Year to date numbers show a increase of visitors by auto of 16.6%
 
The Big Oak Flat Entrance Station (Groveland - Highway 120) had a increase of visitors by auto of 21.8% compared to June 2015. Year to date numbers show a increase of visitors by auto of 26.7%
 
The South Entrance (Oakhurst - Highway 41) had a increase of visitors by auto of 8.5% compared to June 2015. Year to date numbers show a increase of visitors by auto of 18.2%
 
The total recreation visitors to Yosemite National Park for June 2016 was up by 29.0% compared to June 2015. Year to date numbers show an increase of recreation visitors of 22.9%
 
Park Staff Notes for June:
Crane Flat Campground opened for the season 6/10.
White Wolf campground was open 5 nights in June, 6/17-6/21.
Yosemite Creek Campground opened for the season 6/17.
Tuolumne Campground opened for the season on 6/20.
Tamarack Flat was closed for administrative activities from 6/10-6/20.
