Office arrested Sonora resident, 58-year-old Shauna Marie Love.The arrest comes after the Tuolumne County District Attorney's Office filed a complaint against Ms. Love alleging 45 counts of embezzlement and an arrest warrant was signed on November 25, 2025.
The alleged embezzlement occurred from 2019 to 2024 while Ms. Love was employed as the executive officer of the Tuolumne County Association of Realtors (TCAR).
The suspected embezzlement was first reported to law enforcement in June of 2024. The District Attorney's Office became aware of the report in December of 2024 and was still receiving further evidence and information as recently as October of 2025.
After review of thousands of pages of financial documents, the Tuolumne County District Attorney's Office filed a criminal complaint which includes an allegation pursuant to Penal Code section 186.11(a) which alleges that the embezzlement scheme resulted in the taking of over $100,000.
