Ho Ho Ho, Mariposa! You’re Invited! 

November 28, 2025 – Mariposa County Library officials announce Santa and Mrs. Claus will be joining the 4^th Annual Holiday Read-Aloud on Saturday, December 6, 2025.

Please join us for a magical day filled with stories, music, and treats! We have an amazing reader lineup scheduled for you. And live music on the piano with Bill Carroll and David Budries!

There will be a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Get ready to jingle all the way to the 4^th Annual Holiday Read-Aloud at the Mariposa County Library on Saturday, December 6^th from 10:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.! This magical community tradition is back and shaping up to be the most festive one yet!

This year, we’re thrilled to welcome Sheriff Jeremy Briese, Undersheriff Kevin Packard, and Captain Wes Smith, who will be reading a special holiday trilogy AND handing out some very special holiday swag!

Last year was wonderful, but this year is shaping up to be even more amazing, magical, and full of Christmas cheer. Bring the whole family for a day filled with stories, music, treats, and community spirit!

The library tree lighting will follow our readers with live music at 2:30 P.M.

You won’t want to miss this truly special holiday event.
