Street Crimes Unit 

November 29, 2025 – Turlock Police Department officials report that since beginning their new assignment in February, our Street Crimes Unit has focused on identifying crime trends, targeting repeat offenders, and reducing the activity that harms our neighborhoods.

In less than a year, their work has resulted in:

• Over 1,207 traffic and pedestrian stops
• Over 671 searches related to parole, probation, and arrests
• Over 292 arrests
• Over 11,554 grams of illegal drugs seized
• More than 21,000 dollars in asset forfeiture

Their goal is prevention, accountability, and consistent proactive work that strengthens public safety.
