December 1, 2025 – Mariposa County Library officials announce Midpines author Beth Pratt, of the National Wildlife Federation, will be at the Mariposa Library on Tuesday, December 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to launch her new book, "Yosemite Wildlife." Beth has been heavily involved in the implementation of a wildlife crossing in Los Angeles and has done many other impressive things in her career.

She will have copies on hand and will be available to answer questions about the book. The book's photographer, Robb Hirsch, will also be in attendance.
