MCHS November Career Lunch
December 3, 2025 – The MCHS November career lunch featured representatives from NatureBridge as well as students who participated in a recent backpacking trip made possible by a grant from NatureBridge. The NatureBridge representatives who spoke were Andres Escalante, one of the NatureBridge operations managers, Maddie Patton, director of outreach and enrollment, and Corinne Dedine, director. Escalante spoke of his experiences, how he ended up in a career in outdoor education and what interested students have to do to have an outdoor education career.
MCHS students and faculty who attended Wildlink, the recent NatureBridge backpacking trip, also spoke about their experiences on the trip. Wildlink is a partnership between the National Park Service, the Yosemite Conservancy, and NatureBridge with the goal of expanding access and opportunity to our public lands.

Students enjoyed pizza for lunch during the presentation.
MCHS Academic Boosters Club, Inc, a 501(c)3 organization with the mission of supplementing and enriching academic experiences and providing educational tools for MCHS students, sponsors the monthly career lunches. Local professionals talk with students about the path they took to get where they are today and they answer students’ questions. MCHS ABC provides lunch from local eateries for students to enjoy while they listen, learn, and have their questions answered.
MCHS students interested in attending the December Career lunch should sign up at the counseling office.
