December 12, 2025 – Mariposa County officials announce that the Mariposa County Library website is moving to the main County website!

Starting January 1, 2026, the Mariposa County Library website will move to the County’s primary domain at mariposacounty.gov/Library (will be live on Jan. 1). This change is happening alongside the County’s move from .org to .gov, a State-mandated update that strengthens security and makes it easier to access all County services in one place.

Library users will still find everything they rely on, including the online catalog, digital resources, program info, and the Mariposa Library events calendar, now in a single, user-friendly location.

“Moving the Library website onto the main County domain is an exciting step that will make it easier for residents to find and access all our resources in one place,” said Matt Johnson, Head Librarian.

After the transition, all old Library website pages will automatically redirect to the new location.
