Seeking Witnesses in Fentanyl-Related Homicide Investigation
December 16, 2025 – Placer County Sheriff’s Office officials report that they are asking for the public’s 
help identifying the occupants of the black SUV shown in the video. The vehicle, possibly a Toyota 4Runner or a similar model, was in the parking lot at 4415 Granite Drive in Rocklin on August 21, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m.
The person or people inside may have witnessed events leading up to a fentanyl-related homicide. While the video quality is limited due to the distance from the camera, connecting with the owner or the people inside of this SUV could be critical to moving the investigation forward and ensuring accountability for this crime.
