Suspect Arrested for Multiple Shootings 

December 17, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at approximately 7:24 A.M.,  Northwest Policing District officers responded to a residence near West San Carlos Avenue and North Pope Avenue regarding a report of shots fired.  Officers contacted the residents who were asleep at the time of the shooting.  Thankfully, no one was injured.   Officers contacted witnesses nearby, who reported hearing gunfire in the middle of the night and observed a vehicle fleeing northbound in the area.  Casings were also located, indicating that a shooting had taken place. 

On Friday, November 21, 2025, at 2:35 A.M., officers responded to the same residence for a second shooting.  Officers recovered multiple casings indicating a shooting had occurred.  Thankfully, no one was injured during this second shooting.

On Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 1:30 A.M., officers responded to the same location regarding a third shooting.  Officers recovered multiple casings and observed multiple strike marks on the windows and walls of the residence.  Thankfully, no one was injured during this third shooting as well. 

Street Violence Bureau Felony Assault Unit Detectives were able to positively identify 22-year-old, Jordan Rios, who is a criminal street gang member, as the suspect responsible for two of the three shootings.  On December 11, 2025, a search warrant was served at a residence in the City of Clovis by the Fresno Police Department’s Career Criminal Apprehension Team and assisted by the Clovis Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team.  Rios was taken into custody without incident during the search warrant. 

Rios was booked into Fresno County Jail where he is being held on multiple felony charges related to this investigation including:

Penal Code 246 – Shooting at an inhabited dwelling, Penal Code 29800(a)(1) – Felon in possession of a firearm, Penal Code PC 30305(a)(1) – Possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, and Penal Code 1203.2(a) – Probation violation. He is currently being held with no bail.
