The Sheriff’s Foundation Strikes Again! 

December 20, 2025 – Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office officials announced that this holiday season, the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Foundation once again stepped up to give back to our community, this time through the Senior Center’s Brown Bag Program. Thanks to the Foundation’s generosity, every person received an entire bag of extra commodities, along with reusable shopping bags.

Sheriff Briese and his command staff were happy to trade badges for bells and spent the morning as Santa’s elves, handing out brown bags and the additional items sponsored by the Foundation.

Like all of activities this month, seeing smiles, sharing laughs, and supporting our seniors is what this season and this community is all about.

We are incredibly thankful for the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Foundation and all they do year-round to support programs that directly benefit the people of Mariposa County. Their continued commitment truly makes a difference.
