December 25, 2025 – Mariposa County Sheriff's Office officials report that with incoming predicted weather, now is the 
time to prepare. Please review the information below to be prepared and informed.
Sand & Sandbags Available
Sand and sandbags are available at the following county fire stations:
- Cathey’s Valley Fire Station – 2820 Hwy 140
- Don Pedro Fire Station – 9729 Merced Falls Rd
- Coulterville Fire Station – 10293 Ferry Rd
- Mormon Bar Fire Station – 4621 Hwy 49S
Residents must bring their own shovels.
