December 27, 2025 – Mariposa County Library officials announce a late addition to the December events calendar! On New Year's Eve, join us for "The Squeakening!" 

On Wednesday, December 31 at 4:55 p.m., just prior to the library closing for the evening, we will gather and patrons can share their hopes for the new year, while making a little noise in the library to get out the emotions from the past year. Maybe it was an exciting and great year for you? Maybe it was a stressful year for you? This is the one time you can be noisy in the library.

Throughout the day, we will have materials to make your own stress ball for free. No registration is required.
