Shooting at Mobile Home Park in Fresno Kills a Man, Injures a Woman 

December 30, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that a man shot and killed on Sunday has been identified as 19-year-old Nehemiah Gonzalez of Fresno.

At 6:45 a.m. on Sunday, Fresno County Sheriff’s dispatchers received reports of shots being fired at the Flamingo Mobile Home Park located at Highway 99 and Central Avenue. Deputies arrived on scene and found a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds. The man, Nehemiah Gonzalez, died of his injuries. The woman was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Deputies determined the shooting took place outdoors, on a driveway running through the property. A motive has not been established, and no suspects have been identified.

This marks the 14th homicide investigation the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has conducted in 2025. Four of these cases originated in smaller cities and their police departments requested our office take over the investigations.
