December 31, 2025 – Madera County Sheriff’s Office officials announce that they are requesting the public’s assistance in an ongoing alleged domestic violence related attempted murder investigation.
On December 18, 2025, Noah Challberg was arrested and booked into the Madera County Jail on the following charges:
- PC 273.5(a) – Inflict Corporal Injury on Spouse or Cohabitant
- PC 206 – Torture
- PC 12022.7 – Enhancement for Great Bodily Injury
The investigation is active and ongoing. In accordance with California law and to protect victim confidentiality, no identifying information about the victim will be released.
Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying anyone who may have information about the suspect, including details about past relationships or relevant behavior.
