January 14, 2026 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on January 11, 2026, shortly after 6:00 a.m., Northeast Policing District officers responded to a residence in the 10,000 block of North Satin Nickel Drive regarding possible shots fired in the area. While officers were responding, a reporting party called in stating he had been the victim of a home invasion robbery. When officers arrived, they located two people near the entry/exit gate of the residence. They were initially detained until they were able to be identified as additional victims. The original victim told officers that he was at his home with several guests and they were all drinking alcoholic beverages.
The two guests spent the night at the residence since they had been drinking. Early in the morning, the victim had called a female and asked her to come to his residence. The female arrived and was present for a short time. Shortly after she left, a male suspect showed up at the residence and fired two shots into the door. The suspect forced entry into the residence, held all three victims at gunpoint, and stole numerous items from them. When the suspect fled the area, the victim was able to call the police.
Upon investigating, officers positively identified Adam Delacruz as the suspect responsible for the home invasion robbery. Delacruz is an associate of the female whom the victim had called to his residence. Delacruz was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail for charges related to the investigation. Detectives also recovered a firearm believed to have been used during the crime. This was an isolated incident and we are grateful our officers’ investigation led to the quick identification and arrest of suspect Delacruz.
