January 18, 2026 – Mariposa County Library officials announce upcoming Mending Conversations program will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
Last year the library hosted an event aimed at bringing people together and providing strategies for getting along with people who think differently than you. The library is continuing that Mending Conversations program this year, with a discussion on evaluating sources of information (even trusted ones).
It will be held on Thursday, January 22 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Mariposa Branch. It is taught by Boise State University ethics instructor Meg Beisner, in tandem with County Librarian Matt Johnson.
It is free to attend and there is no registration required. To learn more, call 209-966-2140.
