TRAFFIC ADVISORY
One-Way Traffic Controls for February 1-7, 2026
January 31, 2026 – Mariposa County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR-132, & SR-140 in Mariposa County this week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control from Harris Road to Kimbell Road for pavement work beginning Monday, February 2, through Friday, February 6, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Pegleg Creek Bridge to Bootjack Road for utility work on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
State Route 132
- One-way traffic control from Josephina Way to Zarzamora Street for utility work beginning Sunday, February 1, through Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
State Route 140
- One-way traffic control from Mount Bullion Cutoff to Hummingbird Lane for tree work on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
