Soroptimist InstallationSoroptimist International of Mariposa held their annual Installation of Officers event on June 18, 2016 at the home of member Patricia Perry.  This year’s theme was “travel.”  Decorations included placemats of U.S. maps, travel destination posters, and flags and guests were sent home with travel sized toiletries as party favors.

Karen Vedugo will hold the office of President for the 2015-2016 term.  The other 2015-2016 Officers are as follows:  President-Elect Debbie Lester; Treasurer Bev Suggs; Assistant Treasurer Dianna Voegele; Secretary Anita Starchman Bryant; Assistant Secretary Oralee Phillips; One-Year Director Joy Shultz; Two-Year Directors Patricia Wight and Patricia Perry; One-Year Delegate Sandy Semtner; and Two-Year Delegate Dee Carr.

Soroptimist International of Mariposa is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas.  Headquartered in Philadelphia, Pa., Soroptimist (Soroptimist.org) improves the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.
