Community-Wide “Made in Mariposa” Meeting to Provide Marketing Materials to Local Producers & Sellers

The Made in Mariposa (MiM) committee will hold a meeting on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers at the Mariposa County Government Center, 5100 Bullion Street. The meeting is scheduled to unveil the marketing material to local producers who are participants or potential participants of the branding campaign, as well as to restaurants and retail stores that sell/serve locally-produced goods. The marketing material will include:

·        Live demonstration of the website, MadeInMariposa.com

·        Live demonstration of the facebook page

·        Hard copies of rack cards

o   Business to Consumer (for sales)

o   Business to Business (for recruiting)

·        Product labels for producers

·        Window decals for both producers and providers

·        Hang tags for textile products

There is no charge for the marketing material or to participate in the Made in Mariposa branding campaign. The initiative was funded by a USDA Rural Business Development Grant, which will expire in February 2017.
