February 3, 2026 - On Monday, Sierra National Forest officials say, "Happy Birthday to Us" as they celebrate another year of caring for the land and serving the people. From safeguarding forests and watersheds to supporting communities, wildlife, and outdoor adventures, the Forest Service story is rooted in delivering the greatest good to the greatest number.

Here’s to every employee, partner, volunteer, and visitor who helps keep our forests healthy, diverse and productive. Your dedication shapes the landscapes we all depend on.
