73 Arrested, 4 Rescued in Human Trafficking Operation
February 5, 2026 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that the Human Exploitation and Trafficking (H.E.A.T.) Task Force conducted its annual undercover operation, Reclaim and Rebuild, aimed at combating human trafficking within our communities. Over the course of the six-day operation, 73 individuals were arrested, four victims were rescued and provided with services, and 25 search warrants were served.
Out of 80 agencies across the state, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office ranked third in the amount of arrests during this operation, an achievement made possible by a specialized and highly trained team dedicated to combating human trafficking and holding exploiters accountable throughout Stanislaus County.
