February 26, 2026 - Washington, D.C. — On Wednesday, Rep. Robert Garcia, Ranking Member of the Committee on Donald trump 2025Oversight and Government Reform demanded answers from Attorney General Pam Bondi on the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) suppression of documents alleging President Trump’s sexual abuse of an underage victim. This comes after Ranking Member Garcia viewed unredacted DOJ documents, which include specific allegations against President Trump that are not reflected in the DOJ’s public database, including Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) interview notes with a woman who accused Trump of sexually assaulting her as a minor.

“We are witnessing a White House cover-up of serious allegations against the President by a survivor. We demand Attorney General Pam Bondi come clean about why these documents are being hidden, comply with our legally binding subpoena by sharing all records, and tell the American people if their President is under investigation for allegations of sexual assault,” said Ranking Member Robert Garcia.

Last July, Ranking Members Robert Garcia and Summer Lee led Oversight Democrats in introducing the motion to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice to release the full Epstein files during a House Oversight subcommittee vote. The subpoena, issued in August 2025, requires the release of the complete, unredacted files to the Committee, including material relevant to ongoing investigations.
