TRAFFIC ADVISORY
One-Way Traffic Controls for March 1-7, 2026
February 28, 2026 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-140 in Mariposa County this week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
STATE ROUTE 49
- One-way traffic control from Tiptop-Usona Road to Brooks Road for shoulder work on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Schilling Road to Crown Lead Road for shoulder on Tuesday, March 3, and Thursday, March 4, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 140
- One-way traffic control from Mount Bullion Cutoff to Aqua Fria Road for shoulder work beginning Tuesday, March 3, through Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or construction related issues.
