Request for Community Assistance 

March 3, 2026 – Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office officials report that on December 5, 2025, at approximately 6:50 P.M. (1850 hours), a male subject entered the Sonora Mini Mart, located at 14290 Tuolumne Road in Sonora, and demanded money from the clerk. The male subject was wearing all black clothing with a ski mask and was armed with a handgun. The clerk followed the subject's orders and emptied the cash register, which contained $465. The male subject then left the store on foot, walking East on Tuolumne Road.

After the suspect left the store with the cash, 911 was called, and patrol deputies and detectives responded to the scene. Several items were collected as evidence and are being processed.

The suspect in this case is described as an adult male approximately 5’ 7” tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds.
