Human Trafficking Arrest – Jamestown Man Taken into Custody 

March 8, 2026 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that detectives with the Human Exploitation and Trafficking (H.E.A.T.) Task Force arrested Joshua Talmon (36) of Jamestown following a human trafficking investigation.

On March 3, 2026, detectives began investigating a suspected commercialized sex trafficking case involving a 30-year-old victim from Modesto. During the investigation, Talmon was identified as the suspected trafficker.

On March 5, 2026, detectives located Talmon at his residence in Jamestown and took him into custody without incident. During the arrest, Talmon was found in possession of a loaded stolen firearm reported out of Tuolumne County and metal knuckles.

Talmon was booked into the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Detention Center on the following charges:

  • 266h(a) PC – Pimping
  • 266i(a) PC – Pandering
  • 25850(c)(2) PC – Possession of a stolen firearm
  • 25850(c)(6) PC – Carrying a loaded unregistered firearm
  • 21810 PC – Possession of metal knuckles

He is currently being held on $405,000 bail.
