Homicide Investigation 

March 24, 2026 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at approximately 10:02 P.M., Southwest Policing District officers responded to the area of Samson Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard regarding a shooting victim. Officers located Perry Paul Espinosa suffering from a gunshot wound and rendered medical aid. Despite life-saving measures, Victim Espinoza was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Homicide Detectives believe a disturbance involving multiple subjects occurred prior to victim Espinosa being struck by gunfire. Detectives searched the neighborhood and are still looking for witnesses who may have information about the incident.
