Shooting in Alpaugh Leaves One Dead 

March 27, 2026 – Tulare County Sheriff's Office officials report that just before 7:30 p.m. on March 26, 2026, TCSO Deputies were called to the 5400 Block of Billing Road in Alpaugh for a shooting.

When they arrived, Deputies found a man who had been shot. Deputies initiated CPR until emergency medical personnel arrived and took over life-saving measures.

Despite those efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit are on scene and have taken over the investigation.
