March 30, 2026 – Mariposa County Library officials announce upcoming Poetry Writing event on Thursday, April 2, 2026.

Join us for a fun National Poetry Month event! Participants will share and write poems inspired by their favorite poems. Bring a poem to share or find one at the event! Boise State University instructor/library staff member Meg Beisner will have many available to browse through.

This event will take place at the Mariposa Library located at 4978 10th Street on Thursday, April 2nd from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Event is FREE. All are welcome. No registration required.
