March 31, 2026 – San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office officials report that they received reports of possible fraudulent sales on March 14, 2026, and is currently investigating Carson Pass RV following allegations involving recreational vehicles placed on consignment. We understand the significant financial and personal impact this situation may have on those affected. Our investigators are actively working to identify all victims and move this case forward.

Investigators have identified that multiple RVs may have been sold without proper notification to the rightful owners and without completing the required Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) documentation.

If you purchased an RV from Carson Pass RV, we urge you to contact lead investigator Detective Dodge at: mdodge@sjgov.org or call the Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at 209-468-4400 as soon as possible. If you believe your RV may still be on the property, you may respond in person between 12:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. with proof of ownership to retrieve your vehicle.
