March 31, 2026 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on Sunday, March 29, 2026, our Motors Unit responded after reports of vehicles racing, speeding, and revving engines. With illegal street racing and reckless driving putting our community at risk, officers quickly launched an enforcement operation.

Motors conducted multiple stops on vehicles leaving the area and responded to calls of vehicles driving recklessly in residential areas throughout the city. Thanks to their quick action and strong presence, we saw major results:

• 60 citations issued
• 13 vehicles towed (including five 30‑day impounds)
• 8 misdemeanor citations
• 2 DUI arrests
