Huron Homicide Victim Identified 

March 31, 2026 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that the victim of a recent homicide has been identified as 19-year-old Luis Leyva of Huron.

Around 4:45 p.m. on Friday, March 27th, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office received a call of shots fired near the intersection of Crocker Avenue and Los Angeles Street in Huron. Deputies arrived and found a young man suffering from gunshot wounds. Medical aid was given, but he passed away due to his injuries.

No further details are available at this time. This remains an ongoing investigation.
