April 3, 2026 – Mariposa County Library officials announce an upcoming event which is held in conjunction with the Mariposa Fire Safe Council is entitled "Stories from the Frontline." This event will feature first responder community members sharing stories from their careers.

It will be held Thursday, April 9 at 5:30 p.m. at the Mariposa Library, located at 4978 10th Street.

It is free to attend, and no registration is needed.

Join us as we hear from locals who have served on the fireline and protected our homes and landscapes. Through short personal stories, we'll recognize their dedication and resilience. Come learn more as well about the annual Ember Stomp, and how you can be involved in supporting the continued capacity of the important work the Mariposa Fire Safe Council does for our community.
