April 6, 2026 – Mariposa County Library officials announce that they will be welcoming an artist who works for Marvel in April on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

The Friendly Neighborhood Artist and Graphite Spinner Jerry DeCaire will be sharing a demo of his creative process, showing how he begins to pencil for comic books. Jerry's presentation shows participants the steps and strategies he uses to create comic book illustrations, done through a semi-animated slideshow and real-time drawing performances.

Jerry will also have a few pieces of his work to give away as prizes!

This event will take place on Saturday, April 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
