April 6, 2026 – Mariposa County Library officials announce that they will be offering Intro To Games 1 workshop for youth aged 13 to 18.

Do you enjoy videogames? Our upcoming workshop on Saturday, April 25, focuses on creating choice-based text games.

Intro To Games 1 will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Mariposa Library, located at 4978 10th Street.

This workshop is for ages 13-18.

It is free to attend, and no registration is required.

Narrative is an important part of video games we love. In this hour-long workshop, learn how to use it by making your very own text-based adventure game.

Together we will brainstorm ideas, develop a story, and playtest our games.
