One-Way Traffic Controls for April 26 - May 1, 2026 

April 25, 2026 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR-132, & SR-140 in Mariposa County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

STATE ROUTE 49

  • One-way traffic control from Penon Blanco Road to Shilling Road for traffic signal work beginning Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control at Stumpfield Mountain Road for utility work on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Baby Vista Point to Schilling Road for utility work beginning Monday, April 27, and Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 132

  • One-way traffic control just west of State Route 49 / Coulterville for drainage work beginning Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 140

  • One-way traffic control from Savage Trading Post to Yosemite Cedar Lodge for slope work beginning Friday, April 24, through Sunday, April 26, 2026.
  • One-way traffic control from Bear Creek Bridge to Yosemite National Park for utility work beginning Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or construction related issues.
