Brush Bar @ 1850The Mariposa County Arts Council is excited to announce a new event, “Brush Bar @ 1850.” Brush Bar is a painting workshop, with step-by-step instruction and wine. Participants will take home a beautiful finished painting, ready to hang on the wall. The event is Wednesday, September 28 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on 1850 Restaurant’s front patio. Local painter and college art instructor, Moira Donohoe, will lead the workshop.
Participants are welcome to arrive at 5 p.m. for dinner and/or wine (dinner not included in price of ticket), meet the instructor, meet other participants, and ask questions. Instruction begins at 6 p.m.
The cost is $40 for Mariposa County Arts Council Members and $45 for non-members. This cost includes all materials, instruction, and one full glass of house red or white wine.
Participants must register at least one week in advance. Seats are limited.
