Mariposa Rodeo Girl Winners

On Sunday, September 4th, 2016 prior to the Mariposa Rodeo, Analise Wall was crowned as 2016-2017 Mariposa County Fair Rodeo Queen. Analise was born in Fresno and is the daughter of Walter and Christy Wall. She lives in Mariposa on a small ranch where the horses are an integral part of their daily work. She has worked with horses since she was 5 and works for a local breeder training foals. She loves living in Mariposa and is proud to represent her home town and the Mariposa Fair, the sport of Rodeo and the community of Mariposa.

Also crowned that night was Mariposa County Fair Rodeo Princess, Bernadette Wall and Mariposa County Fair Rodeo Junior Princess. Lily Rumfelt, both from Mariposa. The competition was at held on August 13th and included a riding portion, an interview portion (Queen and Princess contestants only) and then that evening they all came together for the public speaking and modeling portion of the contest.

The competition also included the following charming young ladies: Queen runner up, Lauryn Martin from Coarsegold, Princess first runner up, Ashley Sedgwick from Snelling, Princess second runner up, Grace Nelson from Coarsegold and Junior Princess runner up, Shelby Popejoy from Madera.

Analise, Bernadette and Lily will spend the next year representing Mariposa at many community events, parades and some local rodeos.
