September 14, 2016 - The Old Fire is approximately 100 acres and burning through brushy vegetation and individual beetle-killed trees.
There is moderate fire spotting and beetle-killed tree torching.
The fire is currently 25% contained.
Beetle-killed trees are presenting safety hazards for crews on the ground with an increase in danger from burning snags.
Total personnel: 150
Crews worked through the night to construct line and perform mop up.
Suppression tactics are being modified to provide for firefighter safety while continuing containment and mop up efforts.
Five structures are threatened due to their proximity to the fires edge though the fire is burning away from them.
Cause: Under investigation.
No evacuations or road closures at this time.
