The Mariposa Yosemite Rotary Club announced that tickets are available for three different raffles organized by the club. All three raffles include a two night stay for two at the Majestic Yosemite Hotel during a popular event, as well as two cash prizes. Proceeds of the raffles are used by Rotary to fund scholarships for deserving local youth and to address community needs, both locally and internationally through Rotary International.

Raffle grand prizes were made available by the new Yosemite Park concessionaire, Aramark Corporation operating as Yosemite Hospitality LLC, continuing a tradition established under the previous concessionaire.

Raffle tickets are $10 per ticket, and no more than 1,000 of each ticket will be sold. Raffle tickets are available from any Mariposa Yosemite Rotary member, or by contacting Karen Smith at smithandmartin@sti.net or by calling (209) 966-6406.

Prizes include:

GRAND GRAPE CELEBRATION: Celebrate winemakers’ fall harvest with enlightening Yosemite wine tastings and seminars, an intimate reception to meet the winemakers in person, and a five-course gala dinner for two at the Majestic’s Grand Dining Room. You don’t have to worry about driving home because a two night stay at the Majestic Yosemite Hotel is included with the celebration. There will also be runners’ up prizes of $500 and $250. Tickets for this raffle will be drawn September 30, and you need not be present to win.

BRACEBRIDGE DINNER: Dinner for two at the fabulous Bracebridge Dinner, celebrating the Christmas season. This world-renown pageant of music, theater, spectacle and food has been a Yosemite tradition since 1927. The centerpiece of the event is a seven-course meal capped off by a relaxing two night stay at the Majestic Yosemite Hotel. There will also be two runners’ up prizes of $500 and $250. Tickets for this raffle will be drawn during the October 13 Rotary meeting. You need not be present to win.

TASTE OF YOSEMITE: America’s most renowned chefs come together at the Majestic Yosemite Hotel to share their cuisine at this exceptional event. During the event, you and your partner will enjoy cooking demonstrations, a reception where you can mingle with the chefs, and a five-course dinner served in the Majestic Yosemite Hotel’s Grand Dining Room. Add to this a not-to-be-missed two night stay for two at the Majestic Yosemite Hotel. There will also be two runners’ up prizes of $500 and $250. Tickets for this raffle will be drawn during the December 15th Rotary meeting. You need not be present to win.
