May 18, 2026 – Mariposa County Library officials announce an upcoming library craft event to help observe Memorial Day. To honor Memorial Day this year, community member Nancy Cordero will be presenting on the significance of Memorial Day at the Mariposa Library.

Following the presentation, patrons and library staff will create a memorial bouquet of biodegradable seed bombs. Participants will be encouraged to place these flower bouquets at service member’s graves to eventually dissolve in the rain and grow flowers.

Join us on Thursday, May 21 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

This event is free and registration is required.
