One-Way Traffic Control on State Route 165 for Striping Operations

June 1, 2026 - Merced County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route165 in Merced County this week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 165

     • One-way traffic control at Overland Avenue for striping operations beginning Sunday, May 31, through Monday, June 1, 2026, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
