June 7, 2026 – Kern County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Saturday deputies and Kern Valley Search and Rescue, responded to report of a person swept away in the river near Lake Isabella. Deputies and Kern Valley Search and Rescue deployed multiple boat teams, drones, and helicopters conducting an exhaustive search.

Kern County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue continues to search for the missing man.
