On the last Friday of the month (September 2016), Sierra Foothill Charter School staff and students celebrate at the end of the day with Fun Friday activities. This month's activities included dodge ball, bubbles, face painting, percussion instruments, chalk art, baby carrots and orange slice snacks, and just hanging out, all with music in the background. Kids and staff thoroughly enjoyed it! Blake Shaw practices his percussion skills on one of the drums. Students enjoy playing dodge ball out on the field. Check out the effects of the drought on what used to be green grass! Many students enjoy popping bubbles even more than making them. Aide Barbara Milazzo makes sure they have plenty to pop! Face painting is always popular. Here, teacher Teena Starchman takes a picture of Rosie Neogy who is getting her cheek painted and Elle Sexton waiting her turn. Chalk artist Kaia Ramirez is proud of her work.
