Five Firearms, 1,800 Pounds of Illegal Fireworks Seized 

July 4, 2026 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on July 2, 2026, deputies served a search warrant in Empire, resulting in the seizure of approximately 1,800 pounds of illegal fireworks and five assault style firearms. At this time, one individual has been arrested. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
