Deputy Involved Shooting Suspect Identified 

July 16, 2026 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that the suspect injured during a deputy involved shooting is identified as 24-year-old Juwan Priddie of Santa Maria, CA. He remains hospitalized, listed in critical condition. He has been electronically booked into jail. His bail is set at $100,000.

He is facing the following charges:

- Attempted burglary

- Resisting arrest with violence

- Obstructing an officer

- Making death threats

- Assault

- Battery on a police officer

- Battery causing serious injury
