Yosemite Art Contest: Art from the Park

Open to: Anyone!

Key dates: Submissions due in digital format by Oct. 28; winner announced on Nov. 10.

October 16, 2016 - Do you love Yosemite? Whether you're a pro painter or an amateur doodler, we invite you to participate in our second annual Art from the Park contest! We're looking for submissions of original artwork, in any medium, that represent Yosemite. The winning artist, chosen by a review committee, will receive a grand prize of $300, and be offered a contract for the right to use a reproduction of the winning artwork on new Conservancy retail items, with the goal of creating something fresh, beautiful and meaningful for park visitors. Proceeds from our apparel, books and other products support important work in Yosemite.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: To submit your original artwork for our Art from the Park contest, email a high-resolution image (300+ DPI) of the piece to cmay@yosemiteconservancy.org by Friday, Oct. 28. In your email, please include the dimensions and medium of the artwork, your contact information, and the asking price of original art. All judging will be done from digital image files. The winner will be announced at the Art Center Reception on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 5:00 pm.
