Creekside Middle School Teacher Arrested 

July 30, 2026 – Patterson Police Services officials report that on July 29, 2026, Kevin Olson, a 61-year-old White male from Patterson, was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of child pornography.

Olson was arrested after Stanislaus County Sheriff’s deputies assigned to Patterson Police Services responded to a report that an adult male was believed to be in possession of child pornography. During the investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Olson and discovered that he was employed as a teacher at Creekside Middle School.

The school district has been notified and has taken appropriate action to help ensure the safety of its students. At this time, the investigation has not revealed any evidence that Olson sexually abused or exploited any students at the school.
